District court #32-1-27 is the official District Court of Newtown Square of Delaware County. It services not only the town of Newtown Square, but also wards 2, 5, 6 and 7 of Marple Township and wards 4, 5, and 7 of Radnor Township.
Presided over by the Hon. David H. Lang, this court is one of 34 magisterial courts in Delaware County. In addition to the judges at each of the district courts, the county also employs 22 full time judges and a president judge of the court of Common Pleas, the Hon. Joseph P. Cronin Jr.
The courthouse, located at 30 Media Line Rd, Newtown Square PA 19073, is located within the Gaunlett Community Center. It is open between Monday and Friday between 8:30-4:30.

Found at 201 West Front Street, Media PA 19063, the court is available by phone during the day at (610) 891-4000. Besides being the seat of the County Court of Common Pleas, it is also the home of the Office of the Public Defenders and the Office of the District Attorney.
John J Whelan serves as the district attorney for Delaware County. His office is available during regular hours at (610) 891-4161. The Office of the Public Defender is available during the day at (610) 891-4100. Currently, Douglas C. Rogers Jr. serves as the public defender with Francis L. Zarilly as the primary deputy. Their office is not located in the County Courthouse, but in the Sweeny building down the street.
