Penn Valley does not have its own district court. However, it is considered to be inside the jurisdiction of the court #38-1-06, which is the Narberth district court.

The Narberth Court is found at 907 Montgomery Avenue, Narberth PA 19072 and services parts of Lower Merion, Narberth, and Penn Valley. The courts at this level handle preliminary hearings, traffic violations, DUI and DUI refusal cases and civil cases.  Handled at this level are landlord-tenant disputes, small claims courts and certain felonies and misdemeanors.

This court is part of the Montgomery County Court system, which is presided over by the Hon. William T. Nicholas. In addition to the president judge and the 30 magisterial district judges, the Montgomery County court system also employs 23 full-time judges.

The entirety of Montgomery County, district courts and county seat are all part of the 38th Judicial District for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The county courthouse is found at 2 East Airy Street, Norristown PA 19401.
