Headed by the Hon. Harry Karapalides, the District Court of Upper Darby of Delaware County is unusual in it’s employment of multiple judges at the same location. It also employs the Hon. John Perfetti, the Hon. Ann Berardocco, the Hon. Michael Cullen and the Hon. Christopher Mattox. While most district courts are staffed by a single magistrate, this location employs five.
These five justices are in addition to the twenty-two full time justices seated in Media at the County Court, headed by the president judge, the Hon. Joseph P. Cronin, Jr.
Located at 1550 Garrett Rd, Upper Darby PA 1982, the District Court of Upper Darby holds jurisdiction over wards 4 through 7 of Upper Darby in addition to the Borough of Millbourne.
